We're looking for friendly, knowledgeable, and compliance-focused Budtenders to guide our customers through their cannabis journey and ensure a safe, informative, and enjoyable experience. ________________________________________ What You’ll Do: 🌿 Deliver an Exceptional Customer Experience •Create a welcoming environment where customers feel comfortable asking questions. •Assist guests in selecting the right products based on their preferences, experience, and desired effects. •Educate customers about different strains, product types, effects, dosage guidelines, and responsible consumption. 🌿 Handle Sales with Accuracy & Care •Use our Point-of-Sale (POS) system to process transactions, ensuring accuracy with cash and card payments. •Follow all New York State cannabis regulations and company policies during transactions. •Verify proper identification and ensure compliance with purchasing limits. 🌿 Be a Product Expert •Stay up to date on cannabis trends, new products, and evolving industry regulations. •Be knowledgeable about terpenes, cannabinoids, and product formulations to provide expert recommendations. •Help maintain organized product displays and ensure proper labeling and compliance. 🌿 Support the Cannary Vibe •Keep the dispensary clean, stocked, and running smoothly. •Assist in community events, promotions, and customer engagement initiatives. •Foster a positive, team-oriented environment by collaborating with fellow Budtenders and staff. •😌 Ability to stay cool, calm, and collected under pressure ________________________________________ What We’re Looking For: ✅ Passionate about cannabis and eager to educate others. ✅ Experience in the cannabis industry (1+ year preferred) OR Retail sales experience (3+ years). ✅ Must be able to pass a background check. ✅ At least 21 years old and legally authorized to work in New York. ✅ Excellent customer service and communication skills. ✅ Comfortable working in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment. ✅ Ability to stand for extended periods and lift to 25 lbs as needed. Looking for part-time evenings and weekends. Holiday availability is required.
